T.I.P.P.S Study Club in Coquitlam, BC

Are you a dentist who wants to learn more about the specialities in your profession? If you desire to learn more from experienced colleagues, our study club gives you that chance. Tri-Cities Implant Prostho/Perio Study Club offers a series of seminars to discuss technology in dentistry. They are teaching more about the specialities of prosthodontics, periodontics, and other topics.

What is the T.I.P.P.S Study Club?

T.I.P.P.S. Tri-Cities Implant Prostho/Perio Study Club, (now includes Endo, too.) provides seminars for dental professionals from their specialists about changes in dentistry and how dentists decide on treatments for patients.

The seminars will be at the offices of Tri-Cities Dental Specialists in Coquitlam, British Columbia. During the 2023 – 2024 sessions, some specialists will be on hand to discuss dental subjects with colleagues in the Coquitlam area. The specialists include:

Dr. Ahmed Ballo is a Board-Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Ballo earned his specialist training, master’s degree, and Diploma in Prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia.  He specializes in complex restorative cases and All-On-4 full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Nazanin Narani is a Board-Certified Specialist in Periodontics and studied at UBC, where she obtained her Periodontics degree in 2000. Since then, she has been in private practice. Dr. Narani’s practice specializes in periodontal plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is a clinical assistant professor at UBC, Faculty of Dentistry.

Dr. Meeta Bhatt is a Licensed and Certified Endodontist in the USA and Canada. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and completed the Endodontic Residency program at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Bhatt completed a Master’s in Craniofacial science and completed her research in radiology. She specializes in dental traumatic injuries and was a previous clinical instructor at UBC.

Dr. Taneja is a board-certified, highly skilled periodontist passionate about improving oral health and restoring smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from CCS University in 2014, where she discovered her interest in periodontics.

Study Club Schedule

TIPPS seminars will be at Tri-Cities Dental Specialists at #201 – 1032 Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, BC. It will begin again in September 2023 for the fall/winter sessions. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
