Are you a dentist who wants to learn more about the specialties in your profession? If you have a desire to learn more from experienced colleagues, Study Club gives you that chance. Tri-Cities Implant Prostho/Perio Study Club is offering a series of seminars to discuss technology in dentistry. They are teaching more about the specialties of prosthodontics and periodontics, and other topics.
What is the T.I.P.P.S Study Club ?
T.I.P.P.S. (Tri-Cities Implant Prostho/Perio Study Club) provides seminars for dental professionals from their specialists about changes in dentistry and how dentists decide on treatments for patients. Study Club starts this September with the presentation “TREATMENT PLANNING: How to Achieve Predictable Results.”
The seminars will be at the offices of Tri-Cities Dental Specialists in Coquitlam, British Columbia. During the 2021 – 2022 sessions, some of our specialists will be on hand to talk about dental subjects with colleagues in the Coquitlam area. The expected specialists include:
Dr. Ahmed Ballo, a prosthodontist with Tri-Cities Dental Specialists. Prosthodontists help replace and restore teeth with dental implants, dentures, veneers, or bridges. They also do jaw surgeries to repair jaw structures, along with other dental and facial surgeries.
Dr. Nazanin Narani a periodontist studied at UBC where she obtained her Periodontics degree in 2000. Since then she has been in private practice. Dr. Narani’s practice specializes in periodontal plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is a clinical assistant professor at UBC, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Dayna Roemermann a periodontist, grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she completed her dental degree at the University of Manitoba. After obtaining her degree, she worked as a resident at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg where she treated special needs, medically compromised and trauma patients.

September 21st, 2021 (Tuesday) – TREATMENT PLANNING: How to Achieve Predictable Results
Predicting outcomes of care is important for the peace of mind of both our patients and ourselves. Enhances our skills with better diagnostic, treatment planning, and technique skills lead to more predictable outcomes. This presentation will discuss the keys to predictable treatment outcomes.
November 23, 2021 (Tuesday) – Technology & Dentistry: Correct Oral Health Problems in Half the Time
Incorporation of digital technology in implant dentistry significantly enhances clinicians’ ability to improve implant treatment planning, implant placement and restoration. This presentation will provide a practical and pragmatic overview of the digital tools and technologies used in implant dentistry.
February 22, 2022 (Tuesday) – AESTHETIC CASES: Creating an aesthetic & Functional Smile for Your Patient
Esthetic treatment planning, or “smile designing,” has become an integral part of today’s dental treatments. The biggest challenges for the dental practitioner come in creating esthetic outcomes for complex cases that involve various disciplines of dentistry. A systematic approach to planning and sequencing treatment can eliminate guesswork from the equation, and empower a practitioner in creating predictable results.
May 17, 2022 (Tuesday) – FULL ARCH CASES: Where to Begin and How to Succeed
If you are proficient in implant placement, you can further develop your skills in full-arch rehabilitation. We will describe all the procedural steps for fabricating a predictable implant-supported all-on-X fixed prosthesis.
There will be refreshments starting at 6 p.m. before the seminars begin at 6:30.
